Why We’re Building Nomads Padel Village
We looked for it all over Bali and couldn’t find it — so we’re building it. A single place where padel, wellness, work and community live under one roof, made to one standard. That is Nomads Padel Village, opening in Padonan, Canggu, in November 2026.
The gap we saw in Bali
Bali gives you a lot. What it rarely gives you is one place to do it well. You find a court on one side of the island, a gym on another, a café with decent wifi somewhere else, and your friends scattered between all three. You spend the day commuting between the parts of your own life.
We saw room in Bali for a different kind of sporting environment — not another court to rent, but a village where the whole day fits together.
One village, many ways to belong
Across 6,500 m² in Padonan, we’re building seven premium covered courts, including a Center Court with a grandstand, and the Nomads Academy alongside them. Around the courts sits everything that makes a day complete: a performance gym and padel-specific classes, a recovery suite with sauna, cold plunge, hot tub and a 15-metre pool, on-site physiotherapy and sports massage, a restaurant and bar, workspaces for the days you need to work, events, and a kids club for the whole family.
The courts are covered, so you play all year, rain or shine — and every court has AI tracking and video, so the game is there to learn from, not just to play.
A tribe, not a demographic
Our belief is simple: you shouldn’t have to choose between your career, your body and your people. Most days force that choice. A village removes it.
Nomads is a third place — not home, not work, but the one you choose. It’s open to locals, expats and travellers; to beginners and competitors; to families, founders and everyone in between. One village, many ways to belong — rooted in Padonan, connected to the world.
Built deliberately
None of this is thrown together. The Academy bands players by real level so you train with people who push you, in small groups, with a named lead coach who owns your progression rather than passing you around. The courts themselves are built properly — generous run-off to chase the ball, high ceilings so the lob stays in the game — details you feel in the first ten minutes.
